Specialty Sauces

These small batch sauces feature locally grown ingredients whenever possible. Due to the seasonal nature of the farmers markets some sauces will not always be available. Shoot me a line at doug@dragonsbloodelixir.com to find out what the 'sauce of the month' is and what is available that may not be posted. As always, please shake before using and refrigerate after opening.

Allergen Alert

Teriyaki sauces contain Wheat and Soy. Balsamic Vinegar contains sulfites.

Mango Ginger

A new version of an old favorite. Great with chicken and pork, stirfrys and fried rice. Mix some with vanilla yogurt and add to a fruit salad.
Ingredients: Ripe mango and pineapple puree, apple cider vinegar, apple cider, ginger, habanero peppers, sea salt

Garlic Paprikash

Not as pungent as the Roasted Garlic but still very full flavored. For use with poultry, pork and vegetables. Hungarian Smoked Paprika makes this an excellent addition to goulashes and stews.
Ingredients:Fire Roasted Salsa, Peach Puree, Apple Cider Vinegar, Apple Puree, Apple Cider, Smoked Hungarian Paprika, Roasted Garlic, Chipotle Peppers, Sea Salt

Maple Roasted Apple

Made with first run grade A amber maple syrup from the Fabyan Sugar Shack. Mild to medium heat level and light smokey chipotle taste. Spectacular glaze for pork, chicken or turkey- try it with bean dishes!
Ingredients: roasted apple puree, apple cider vinegar, apple cider, maple syrup. Peach preserves, chipotle peppers, balsamic vinegar, sea salt

Honey Lime Curry

If you are a curry fan this sauce is what you've been looking for. First made as a custom sauce using habaneros and honey from a friend, this has proved very popular and may be the next labeling project. Very full flavored- add some plain yogurt for a traditional curry sauce.
Ingredients: fire roasted salsa, apple cider, apple cider vinegar, honey, habanero peppers, apple puree, lime juice, coconut milk, curry spices sauteed in canola oil, sea salt

Hot Chocolate

Frivolously decadant, this Valentine's Day special is a non-traditional mole sauce that is good with chicken, turkey and pork. Try adding this to an apple bread pudding for a sweet and smokey background
Ingredients: peach puree, apple puree, cherry puree, apple cider vinegar, caribbean cocoa, chipotle peppers, sea salt

Ginger Peach

Think of this as a duck sauce with an attitude; great with asian dishes and fried rice, works well as a glaze on chicken and pork. This sauce has a beautiful bright orange color with shreds of red habanero ; very eye catching.
Ingredients: peach puree, apple cider, apple cider vinegar, habanero peppers, apple puree, ginger puree, sea salt

Pineapple Teriyaki

Ingredients: Pineapple puree, apple cider vinegar, apple cider, apple puree, teriyaki sauce, ginger puree, brown sugar (for color), sea salt.

These sauces are not labeled for resale, they are suitable as gifts. Here at the 'virtual farmers market table' they are considered as 'point of sale.' Ingredients are listed in accordance with FDA guidelines. Allergens will be noted in boldface. Hot sauces will be in 5 ounce bottles, condiments will be in 10 ounce bottles. Please refrigerate after opening. These are small batch sauces, often 36-48 bottles- successful flavors will be added to he fully labeled line up. Vote for your favorites- feedback is encouraged!
