CLiCK Willimantic is a shared-use commercial kitchen that provides opportunities for farmers and culinary entrepreneurs, including those with low incomes, to incubate food-based businesses, while improving the health and vitality of our local community by teaching gardening, culinary arts, nutrition, and other food-related classes, all informed by a social justice perspective. There's some exciting plans to quadruple the kitchen space which will allow us to 'onboard' all of our waiting list. These are budding small food businesses that are making the positive move to a self-determined future. CLiCK helps with business plans and with the labyrinthine process of becoming licensed. These companies can then rent time in our fully equipped kitchens without the expense of building their own facility.
Here's the sticky point- none of the earmarked expansion funds include money for the nuts and bolts of paying for gas and electricity. To help remedy this, we're introducing the CLiCK Community Box. It's a 3 pack of your choice, and we'll add the Stone Soup Vintage 2024 as a bonus.
We're pricing this box at $41 with the extra $10 going to CLiCK. We'll match the $10 for every order as well, so between us there will be a $20 donation per box. This offer is good as long as the Stone Soup lasts.
