Misfit Spices & DBE Boxes

We teamed up with our CT farmers market buddies over at Misfit Spices to make some Spices and Sauces Boxes for the holiday season.

Like the 2024 CLiCK Community Box, $20 per box sold will benefit CLiCK Willimantic, the co-op kitchen we make and bottle our sauces in.

Original Box

DBE Original
Our award-winning original sauce, the answer to the thin industrial sauces. Use this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. One of the hottest sauces we make, rated a 7.5 on our 2-15 heat scale.

Maple Roasted Apple
The easy-going grilling sauce, spectacular on anything out of the smoker, pulled pork and glazing. Heat level is a 2 on our 2-15 heat scale.

Misfit Original Blend
An all-purpose seasoning, this is the spice blend that started it all for Misfit Spices. Misfit Original Spice is a unique blend of 25 spices that is perfect for dry rubs and marinades of beef, pork, and chicken, but is also fantastic in dressings, veggies, side dishes and more. This is the do-anything,  put-it-on-anything spice. All of Misfit's blends are low sodium.

The Green Machine
Another all-purpose seasoning, The Green Machine is a tasty blend of different green chilies, garlic, cumin, citrus, herbs and more. For those that like to walk on the green side this is the spice for you. Perfect as a rub or marinade for your chicken, pork, beef, veggies, eggs. Could even use it to make a pot of Green Chili. Like their Original blend, this is another do-anything, put-it-on-anything spice.

Hot & Spicy Box

For Whom The Bell Tolls
A favorite that regularly sells out, this skull and crossbones sauce has great fresh pepper flavor with a strong Ghost and Scorpion spike. The best seller on the website. One of the hottest sauces we make, rated a 12 on our 2-15 heat scale.

Got Them Old Smokin’ Blues Again
A sauce that's currently on our Secret Menu, this is heavy on the habanero flavor but has a smooth, friendly Chipotle backbeat. Think chili! Heat level: 9 on the 2-15 heat scale.

Reaper
A very spicy all-purpose seasoning, this blend is not for the faint of heart.  The hottest offering from Misfit, this fire bomb hits early and has a long lasting burn. Misfit has crafted a profile that highlights the flavor of the chilies perfectly but still has depth and deliciousness. Carolina Reaper headlines the show full of stars like Ghost Pepper, 7 Pot Brain Strain, Scorpion, Habanero, Cayenne, and Jalapeno. That’s a lot of heat!

Hellfire
A very spicy all-purpose seasoning, this blend is the spiciest version of our Misfit Original Blend, and the name says it all. They didn’t just bring the heat, they added FIRE to FLAVOR to create this blend. Driven by some seriously hot chilis like Ghost Pepper, Scorpion, Habanero, Cayenne, and Jalepeno this mix will set your mouth on fire, but is so full of flavor you’ll go right back for another bite.
