LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

We're excited to start the new Dragon's Blood Elixir newsletter. This is envisioned to be a monthly update including the announcement of new sauce d'jours, changes to the secret menu lineup, farmers market news, sauce making philosophy and anecdotes,  menu suggestions utilizing new and old favorite flavors. These menu suggestions will eventually be collated into the long planned, never produced booklet "Now That I've Bought It, What Can I Do With It?"

NEW SAUCES

The new Sauce du Jour will be the Dragons Chili Sauce just in time for Cinco de Mayo. More of a 'gringo southwestern style' than traditional Mexican with a strong roasty toasty pepper flavor profile. Heirloom tomato based with local tomatillos, roasted garlic and our own CLiCK grown peppers providing the kick. Great for Chili Beans, taco filling and as an addition to your own Chili recipe. Try it in your smoker or make a kick ass hummus.

REAPERS, GUMMIES & BEARS, OH MY!

We had a great time making gummy bears out of the It's Cryin' Time Again sauce and would like to share the fun. Until they are gone we'll add one to every CTA order. These are gelatin based and will melt in excessive heat. They are labeled with a skull and crossbones to remind you not to leave them lying around for the unwary.

NOW THAT I'VE BOUGHT IT, WHAT CAN I DO WITH IT?

We talk dips, dressings and marinades on our new recipe blog, check it out!
